Tuesday Thoughts 💭 (on a Wednesday night)…The Magic Happens Between Strategy & Execution

This week I’m back from workshops, and one theme keeps surfacing in the work ahead.Strategy fails without clear paths to execution, and execution fails without collective alignment.You can have the most brilliant strategy—but if teams aren’t aligned, priorities aren’t clear, and if the right people aren’t in the room, the path forward can stall—and the solution never makes it past the slide deck.On the flip side, execution without strategy just becomes busy work. Lots of activity… but not always progress.Sitting in sessions this last week, mapping out the work ahead, I’m reminded that the real impact happens right at the intersection of the two—where everyone understands the “why” behind the work and the team moves forward with shared alignment.That’s where momentum happens.That’s where results happen.
